During 2020 we joined The Archemist Company as a staff augmentation for their current team. They wanted to build a virtual tour system where users could visit real state properties and talk to agents in real time via voice over IP. This system is composed of three different apps: a web app for users browsing and visiting properties, a management web app for the real state agents, and a mobile app for both real state agents and users, to be able to connect, talk and do the tour, but also scan new properties (for real state agents only).
The technical challenge on this project was develop the technology using OpenCV, to do 360 stitching using phone’s camera.
